Privacy Policy
1. About this policy
This policy explains how Lumisync Pte. Ltd. (Lumisync, we, us) collects, uses and discloses personal data in connection with our Singapore website, enquiries, showroom appointments and services. It is intended to be read with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
2. Personal data we collect
When you contact us or book a visit, we may receive your name, email address, telephone number, property type, solutions of interest and remarks. For a project, we may also need your installation address, plans, relevant site photographs, quotation and service records. Please provide only information needed for your enquiry; do not send passwords, NRIC details or unrelated sensitive information through the website.
3. Why we use personal data
We use relevant information to respond to enquiries; arrange, confirm, reschedule or cancel appointments; assess requirements; prepare quotations; coordinate agreed installation and configuration; provide warranty and after-sales support; maintain necessary business records; and meet legal obligations. We seek consent where required, or rely on another basis permitted by the PDPA. Booking a visit does not by itself subscribe you to promotional messages.
4. Website analytics and cookies
Our website uses Google Analytics to understand visits and improve the website. Depending on the configuration and your browser settings, analytics may process identifiers, device and browser information, pages visited and interaction information, and may use cookies. Hosting providers may process technical access and security logs. You can manage cookies in your browser; blocking some technologies may affect features. A link to WhatsApp or another external service takes you to that provider, whose privacy terms also apply. This policy does not itself provide a cookie consent mechanism.
5. Who may receive data
Relevant information may be handled by authorised staff and service providers supporting website hosting, email, appointment scheduling, analytics and IT. Appointment workflows may use Google services. Where a project requires coordination, we share only relevant information with the contractors, interior designers, installers, suppliers or other parties involved in the agreed work, where authorised or otherwise permitted by law. We may disclose information where legally required. We do not use this policy to authorise unrelated disclosure or sale of your contact details.
6. Overseas processing
Some providers may store or process information outside Singapore. Where we transfer personal data overseas, we must ensure protection comparable to the PDPA through appropriate arrangements or another legally permitted basis.
7. Protection and retention
We are responsible for reasonable security arrangements appropriate to the personal data we hold. No website or communication channel can guarantee absolute security. Personal data should be retained only while needed for the purposes collected or for a legal or business purpose, then securely deleted or anonymised. We assess suspected breaches and make notifications where the PDPA requires them.
8. Access, correction and withdrawal
You may ask for access to your personal data and information on its use or disclosure, request correction, or withdraw consent with reasonable notice, subject to applicable law and exceptions. We may verify your identity. If an access or correction request cannot be completed within 30 days, we will inform you in writing within that period of when we expect to respond. Any reasonable access fee will be explained in advance; correction requests are not charged. Withdrawal may affect services that require the information, and we will explain relevant consequences. Withdrawal does not prevent retention or processing otherwise permitted by law.
9. Privacy enquiries and complaints
Write to Lumisync Pte. Ltd., Attention: Data Protection Officer, 81 Ubi Ave 4, #07-01, Singapore 408830. You can also contact +65 8588 9940 and ask to be connected to the person responsible for data protection. Please describe your request without including unnecessary sensitive information. If your concern remains unresolved, you may contact the Personal Data Protection Commission through its official website.
10. Updates
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The current version and its revision date will be shown here. Any additional notice or consent required by law will be addressed separately.
